You can get Flotello up and running on your own — from sign-up to your first reservation in a quarter of an hour. This guide walks through all the steps in the order that makes sense.
1. Creating an account
On flotello.app, click “Try 7 days free”. All you need is an email and a password (at least 8 characters) and to agree to the terms and conditions. After confirming your email, you sign in and continue with the setup wizard.
For the first 7 days you have every feature free of charge and with no payment card.
2. Setup wizard
- You pick a subscription tier based on the size of your fleet (S up to 7 vehicles, M up to 20, L up to 50, XL by arrangement). You pay nothing during the trial and the tier can be changed at any time.
- You fill in your rental company details: name, address, company ID, bank account, contacts and the currency you charge customers in (CZK or €). These details are then filled into contracts automatically — it pays to complete them right away.
- You can connect card payments (Stripe) straight away, or skip it and come back to it later under Settings → Payments.
3. Launch checklist
Once inside the app, a checklist guides you towards your first real operation:
- Add your first vehicle — name, registration plate, daily rate and deposit amount. The details are covered in the Vehicles guide.
- Add a customer — a name and phone number is enough, the rest can be filled in later.
- Check the document templates — the default contract and protocols are ready, just add your own terms (Settings → Documents).
- Invite colleagues to the team (Settings → Team).
4. First reservation
In the Calendar, click “New reservation”. You pick a vehicle, a customer and the dates — the mini-calendar shows availability and the system watches for collisions, so a double booking cannot be created even by accident. The price is pre-filled from the vehicle’s price list, but can be adjusted.
The reservation is created as confirmed right away. When the vehicle is picked up, you then walk through the handover on the reservation detail: contract, signature, handover protocol with photos and taking the deposit. The Contracts, Handover protocols and Deposits and payments guides describe this step by step.
