Contracts and finger signing

In Flotello, a rental contract comes together in three taps: the template is filled with details from the system, both parties sign with a finger on the screen and the finished PDF is stored with the reservation.

Contract templates

Under Settings → Documents you’ll find a default vehicle rental contract template (based on the Czech Civil Code). Adjust the text to your own terms — it is plain text with variables in the form {{jmeno}}, {{spz}}, {{cena}}, {{kauce}} and others. When the contract is created, the variables are replaced with real details from the reservation, the vehicle, the customer and your company.

You can have several templates (one for trailers, another for campers) — you choose when inserting the contract.

Creating a contract

On the reservation detail, click “Insert contract”. You’ll see a preview of the filled-in text; if some detail is missing (say, the customer’s ID number), the system warns you in advance. The text can still be edited for the specific contract — the template in the settings stays unchanged.

Finger signing

Signing happens right on the phone or tablet screen — the customer first, then staff. No printer, no scanning. After signing, a PDF is created that can no longer be changed: it is an immutable snapshot of what both parties saw and signed.

Storage and sending

The signed PDF is permanently stored with the reservation and is automatically emailed to the customer (if they have an address on file). You can resend it any time later with the button on the detail.

Lessor details

Contracts are filled with your company’s details (name, company ID, registered office, representative, bank account) from Settings → Rental company. Fill them in before signing your first contract — the system will point out anything missing.
