Is Flotello suitable for tool rental, not just large plant?
Yes. The system does not distinguish between a breaker and a mini digger — every item has pricing, a deposit and a checklist. Rent by the hour, day or week; the price is calculated per day from the rate card.
Can you record inspections and servicing?
Every machine has fleet records: documents (inspection certificates, manuals, service invoices) and a service history. Enter a service block in the calendar so nobody can book the machine.
How do you deal with accessories that go missing?
The accessory checklist is ticked off at handover and again at return, and the customer signs both. A missing item is in the report in black and white and can be deducted from the deposit.
What if a customer does not return a machine on time?
A reminder is e-mailed automatically the day before the rental ends. An overdue machine shows in the daily overview and in the calendar, where it blocks the next booking — and you have grounds for charging the extension.
Can I rent to businesses on invoice?
Yes. For a business customer you record the company and VAT number (verified against the EU VAT register), and a VAT invoice is raised straight from the booking with continuous numbering. Bank transfers are recorded in the same ledger as card and cash.
Does it work on site from a phone?
Yes — handover and return, including photos, checklist and signature, are built for one-handed use on a phone. Pricing, records and reports are then done comfortably on a computer in the office.
